So far and yet so close
Isn't modern technology amazing (well, sometimes at least...)? Today Menchie and I were able to chat over the Internet using our webcams and microphones. The connection was very good, much better than over the phone which often has delays, making it difficult to carry on a normal conversation. And we could see each other, which was really great! Unfortunately, Enna-Marie was already sound asleep in Menchie's arms, after an exhausting afternoon of shopping in the Fairview mall (no, not the Fairview in Desperate Housewives, but Fairview as in Fairview in the Philippines).
At the Internet cafe where Menchie was, they use timers and so when there were just twenty seconds left, Enna-Marie began to wake up. The last picture is when she has just realized that her daddy is waving at her and blowing kisses from the other side of the world and then the picture goes black again... :(
Getting connected...
"Look sweetie, Enna-Marie is here with me but fast asleep..."
Without her pacifier...
Am I dreaming or is that daddy over there!?...

Farewell for Philip, Harly, and Farzana, Neil & Ariana
Yesterday we said goodbye to Philip, Harly, and Farzana, Neil & Ariana, as they have concluded their services at the Bahá'í World Centre. Philip and Harly return to the Philippines, and Farzana, Neil and Ariana will set up home in Pune, State of Maharashtra, India. Here are some pictures of the gathering, and also a short video of Alex Burias entertaining us with some good old Karaoke :)
