Holy Places visit...

Our family recently visited two of the Bahá’í Holy Places, the House of Abbud and Mazra'ih. It was such a beautiful day, sunny with cool breezes. Later in the afternoon, we went to Bahji, visited and prayed at the Shrine of Baha'u'llah.

I love to color...

My favorite activity these days is coloring...I love it. Just recently my mom has taught me how to color inside the picture. It is not so hard, after a few tries I was able to do it. My mom and dad said that I'm getting good at it. I learned to draw different shapes as well, see fourth photo. I am happy that I'm learning a lot at this stage and I look forward for more!

Some visitors...

Farah & Bruce from Australia who came last March for a nine day pilgrimage

some friends coming from the Americas & Europe who attended a training on Statistics

Shalisa Veira Mzungu came from Malawi for the statistical training as well together with husband Muti and their baby Taraz. Also in this photo is a pilgrim visitor Nica Treadwell from the US.

Shalisa was Menchie's co-orientaion mate when they came to the World Centre 11 years ago. Also, she was Arnold's officemate, so this was a reunion of the three good friends.

Lower Terraces Open Day

On 3 April, an open day for the public on the Lower Terraces of the Shrine of the Báb in Haifa took place. This activity was part of the celebration on the recent inscription of the Bahá’í Shrines on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. People were able to walk freely up and down the terraces and view some exhibits relating to World Heritage. There were some craft activities for children like coloring, flower making, planting with all sorts of materials and chalk painting activity on Ben Gurion Avenue where part of the street was closed to traffic. There was also an ethnic music festival where different musical groups performed in the German Colony. It was truly a successful event, our family enjoyed it a lot, we also climbed the terraces together. You can check the new website of the Bahá’í gardens where information about the Bahá’í gardens in Haifa and Akka is provided. Enjoy our photos!
